For IHC Merwede we have built 20 Plain Suction Dredgers, type 45. The dredger is a non-propelled plain suction dredger. The single walled submerged dredge pump is installed in the dredge ladder and is driven by a submersible electric motor. The dredgers pontoon consists of two pontoons, one at each side of the dredge ladder.
