For IHC Merwede we have built 25 Plain Suction Dredgers, type 35. The dredger is a non-propelled plain suction dredger. The single walled submerged dredge pump is installed in the dredge ladder and is driven by a hydraulic motor via a gearbox. The dredge ladder is built of a single pipe configuration with the suction and discharge pipe mounted on the ladder.
